Speculation is not news …

I find myself watching news broadcasts from international stations more often.  I am able to hold two completely opposing thoughts in mind at the very same time, so in past years I would flip between Fox and MSNBC (admittedly it was a 2/98 split).  Over time I noticed that the VAST majority of airtime is filled with opinions and speculation about why something did or might happen.

Most of the international based news broadcasts are conducted with 1 person at a time, reading the news about what happened and why, if it is known.  I find this efficient, less stressful and grounding, leaving more time for a few episodes of something on Netflix or Amazon.
